To get the most out of Monieswitch, you can enable a variety of services tailored to your business needs.

Monieswitch Services

1. Collections

Easily receive payments and manage financial assets with a range of collection products:
  • Checkout: A ready-to-use payment page for fast, secure customer payments. Perfect for e-commerce, donations, or any scenario where you want a simple pay-now experience.
  • Payment Link: Generate links for one-time or recurring payments. Choose from several types to fit your needs:
    • Fixed: Set a specific amount for the payment link—ideal for selling products or services at a set price.
    • Custom: No amount specified; the payer enters the amount. Great for donations or pay-what-you-want scenarios.
    • Input: Collect custom information from the payer along with the payment (e.g., name, email, purpose).
    • Dropdown: Offer multiple plans or options with different prices. Perfect for subscriptions, memberships, or tiered services. Use cases include selling products, collecting donations, or offering subscription plans.
  • Virtual Accounts: Instantly create unique account numbers for customers or transactions. Ideal for automated reconciliation, customer-specific payments, and tracking incoming funds.
  • Subaccounts: Internal wallets attached to customer or merchant wallets. Move money between subaccounts and main accounts for savings, expense management, or operational separation. Subaccounts cannot transfer directly to external accounts; all transfers route through the main account. Great for savings pots or departmental budgeting.
Example use case: An online marketplace can use virtual accounts for each vendor, payment links for quick sales, and subaccounts for managing vendor balances and payouts.

2. Payouts

Disburse funds efficiently with tools for every payout scenario:
  • Single Payouts: Send money to one recipient instantly—great for refunds or one-off payments.
  • Bulk Payouts: Pay multiple recipients in one go, saving time on payroll, vendor payments, or mass disbursements.
  • Scheduled Payouts: Automate payments for salaries, recurring bills, or regular vendor settlements.
  • Recurring Payouts: Set up ongoing, automated payments for subscriptions, retainers, or regular obligations.
Example use case: A gig platform can pay hundreds of freelancers at once with bulk payouts, or automate monthly payments to partners with scheduled payouts.

3. Child Account

Facilitate seamless management of multiple internal wallets for different purposes. Child accounts are always attached to a customer or merchant wallet. You can move money across customer and merchant wallets, but not directly from a child account to an external account—it must first be credited to the main account. Ideal for savings, budgeting, or separating funds for specific goals. Example use case: A fintech app lets users create savings pots (child accounts) for goals, with all withdrawals routed through their main wallet for security and compliance.

4. Card Service (coming soon)

Grow your business faster by issuing virtual cards for business expenses, team spending, or customer rewards. Control spending, track usage, and empower your business with flexible card solutions. Example use case: A startup issues virtual cards to employees for travel or online purchases, setting limits and monitoring spend in real time.

5. Branch

Designed for businesses with multiple outlets or stores. Set up each branch with its own account number and visual terminal. Assign agents to terminals, track transactions per outlet, and move funds between terminals and the main store account. Agents can log in and see transactions for their assigned terminal. Example use case: A retail chain manages cash flow for each store, assigns agents to terminals, and consolidates funds at the end of the day for better oversight and control.
