To complete your Monieswitch account setup, you must provide the following KYC (Know Your Customer) information. Each item below includes the acceptance criteria for a successful review.

1. Business Name and Address

  • What to provide:
    • Your registered business name (or personal name for individuals)
    • The full business address, including city, state, and country
  • Acceptance criteria:
    • Name and address must match official documents and registration records
    • No spelling errors or abbreviations

2. Bank Verification Number (BVN)

  • What to provide:
    • Your 11-digit BVN (for Nigerian users)
  • Acceptance criteria:
    • BVN must be valid and match your personal or business details
    • BVN must not be blacklisted or flagged by regulatory authorities

3. Identification Document (one of the following):

  • Driver’s License
  • International Passport
  • National ID Card
  • Voter’s Card
  • Identification Number
  • What to provide:
    • A clear, unexpired, government-issued ID matching your name and photo
  • Acceptance criteria:
    • Document must be valid and not expired
    • All details (name, date of birth, photo) must be clearly visible
    • The document must match the name provided in your profile
    • Only one valid document is required, but you may upload more for faster verification
Scanned copies or high-quality photos are accepted. Blurry or cropped images will be rejected.
